Wiley Announces Media Partnership with Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA) for JASIS 2016

Global publisher John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA), the primary trade association for Japan’s analytical instrument companies, have established a media partnership agreement for Japan Analytical and Scientific Instruments Show (JASIS) 2016 taking place from 6 to 9 September 2016.

JASIS 2016 is set to be one of the largest expositions in Asia for analytical and scientific instruments from Japan and overseas.  Earlier, JASIS 2015 attracted over 23,000 visitors and close to 500 companies exhibiting latest advances in equipment at the event.

Wiley’s portfolio of B2B trade publications and online portals represents a perfect partnership for both Wiley and JAIMA to leverage on both research audiences to expand research community involvement and promote innovations in analytical and scientific instruments for the industry through JASIS and Wiley’s publications and platforms.  Wiley’s portfolio of content also includes booksjournalsdatabases, online portals and leading trade publications such as Microscopy and Analysisand Spectroscopy Asia, which disseminate industry news, research and innovations to researchers across the world.

JAIMA, which started as a local industry association in Japan, is no longer looking only inside the country. “As a sole industry organization for the companies that manufacture and market analytical instruments and solutions in Japan, JAIMAis now striving to expand its activities to overseas countries”, says Takeshi Kawamoto, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of JAIMA. “Therefore, it is quite significant for JAIMA to have a media partnership agreement with John Wiley & Sons which is a globally renowned publisher to promote technologies and products of JAIMA member companies showcased at JASIS 2016.”

Wiley will be exhibiting and delivering a keynote speech at JASIS 2016.  As a media partner for JASIS 2016, Wiley will also be providing editorial coverage and promotion for JASIS 2016 on key B2B publications and sites.
