Electric Drives

D.P. Kothari is Director–Research, Gaikwad-Patil Group of Institutions, Nagpur. He was involved in teaching and development of several courses at BITS, Pilani. Dr Kothari has also served as Director–Research, MVSR Engineering College, Hyderabad; Director General, Raisoni Group of Institutions, Nagpur; Emeritus Director General, Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science (VITS), Indore; and Vice Chancellor, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.

Rakesh Singh Lodhi is Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Oriental University, and Indore (MP).  He is in academics and research since last seven years. He has guided many research projects on electrical motor drives at undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. His research areas include Electrical Vehicles, Brushless DC Motor Drives, PWM Inverter, Control of Traction Drives, Industrial Drives and Performance of Power Electronics in Traction Drives.
